Supporting You and Your Family

The Care Factor Fund launched June 1, 2025 to support APi team members around the world whose children or dependents face unexpected challenges related to mental health or substance abuse. This effort underscores our shared commitment to the safety, health and well-being of our team and our extended APi family, demonstrating an important part of our culture, The Care Factor.

"We understand that life’s challenges can strike unexpectedly, and The Care Factor Fund is our way of standing by our team members and their families when they need support the most. Together, we can ensure no one faces these hardships alone,” said Russ Becker, President and CEO of APi Group.

Knowing firsthand how these challenges can impact a family, Russ and his wife, Trish, decided they wanted to do more for those who may be in the same situation, or worse. The Beckers met with the APi Group Foundation to figure out how a fund could be established to support teammates financially. Russ then turned to our Board co-chairs, Jim Lillie, and Sir Martin Franklin, and Board member Ian Ashken, to request their support for the Care Factor Fund. Each matched Russ’ original donation. A win for our teammates.

Becker continued, “The fund isn’t just financial support – it’s a message to our team members that the health and well-being of their family members matters deeply to us. By offering help during moments of challenges, APi Group reaffirms its commitment to being more than just a workplace.”
